Aneela is a qualified Child Clinical Psychologist and Associate of Just Psychology. She has a particular interest in assessing issues of race and culture. She continues to conduct research into this area and has published a number of papers looking at cultural issues and the impact of these on psychological wellbeing. She is fluent in Punjabi and Urdu and is able to conduct assessment in these languages.

She also has expertise in the following areas:

Parenting interventions based on ‘Positive Parenting’ and ‘The Incredible Years’
Therapeutic interventions on understanding and managing difficult attachment patterns within the home and school environments
Individual and indirect therapy around psychological well being such as anxiety, low mood and anger
Delivering culturally appropriate interventions and adapting Western models of therapy to different cultural groups
