Dr Iyabo Fatimilehin

Just Psychology is led by Iyabo Fatimilehin who is its Company Director.  She is a clinical psychologist with 20 years' experience of working in the NHS; the last ten of these at consultant level.  She worked specifically with children and families within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in which she specialised in working with children and families from Black and minority ethnic communities. 

Amira Hassan

Mrs Amira Hassan

Amira Hassan is a counselling psychologist and a member of Just Psychology's Advisory Group. She has more than 30 years experience of working in the mental health field. For the last ten years she worked with children and families within Alder Hey Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Liverpool.

Calla Thompson

Calla Thompson is an art therapist and a member of Just Psychology's Advisory Group.  She has been working in the NHS, Higher Education and the private sector for the last 23 years. Her clinical work has mainly been in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Her clinical specialities are individual and group art therapy for children and adults. She is also qualified and experienced in parenting approaches, family therapy and consulting to professional groups.

Professor Carolyn Kagan

Carolyn Kagan works part time as Professor of Social & Community Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University's Research Institute for Health & Social Change, where she was formerly Director since its inception.  She is a community psychologist with qualifications in counselling psychology and social work. For over 30 years she has worked in partnership with public community and  voluntary sector groups concerned with social change.  She is a a Non-Executive Director for Just Psychology, and is a member of its Advisory Board.

David Cooke

David Cooke

David is a Non-Executive Director for Just Psychology. Currently self-employed, he specialises in fundraising and financial management for a number of voluntary organisations. He also works on educational projects around inter-cultural and global development issues.

Martin Nolan

Martin Nolan.png

Martin is a tutor on the Goldman Sachs funded 10,000 Small Businesses Programme which is run by the Business School at Manchester Metropolitan University where he is also a coach for the Knowledge Action Network Programme. In addition, Martin is an approved coach on the Government’s Business Growth Accelerator Scheme which is sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Dr Aneela Pilkington

Aneela is a qualified Child Clinical Psychologist and Associate of Just Psychology. She has a particular interest in assessing issues of race and culture. She continues to conduct research into this area and has published a number of papers looking at cultural issues and the impact of these on psychological wellbeing. She is fluent in Punjabi and Urdu and is able to conduct assessment in these languages.

Martha McCann

Martha McCann, a Just Psychology Associate, has over 25 years’ experience in the public sector, mainly working with Housing Associations.

Dasha Chemo

Dasha is an Associate of Just Psychology. She is an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with experience working across a number of services with the Specialist Service Division of the Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. These have included secure CAMHS assessment and treatment services and long-term secure adult mental health services.

Anjum Yazdani

Dr Anjum Yazdani, Clinical Psychologist, has around 20 years experience of working in mental health. Her work is informed by her academic interests in the study of culture, community, ethnicity and critical psychology.

Olatunde Spence

Olatunde is an HCPC registered, qualified Art Psychotherapist and Community Development Worker with over 30 years of experience of working with community groups in Stockport, Manchester and Trafford.  She has worked with a wide range of Black and Minority Ethnic communities to develop community led initiatives which include family support groups, mental health and wellbeing projects, arts workshops and Black History Month programmes.

Helen is a member of Just Psychology's advisory board.

Emcee Chekwas

Emcee Chekwas is a Forensic Psychologist and an Associate of Just Psychology CIC. He has sixteen years’ post qualification experience in psychology and psychotherapy practice, and specialist interest in assessments and treatment of minority ethnic group clients, particularly with heritage of Asian and African Caribbean communities.

Annette Williams

Annette Williams has 25 years of experience in the social work sector and has been qualified as a social worker since 1991. Since then she has worked as a field social worker working in the local authority with children and families.

She has also lectured on the Master’s Degree in Social Work course and trained extensively on a range of safeguarding and child protection topics from Basic Foundation Training to Female Genital Mutilation.

Georgina Hughes

Georgina Hughes is a Senior Art Psychotherapist, HCPC and BAAT registered. She has 15 years’ experience of working within a CAMHS school-based service, specifically working with refugee and asylum seeking children and families, and a Tier 3 CAMHS service. She provides external and internal supervision and her role involves working with children and families with a wide range of difficulties, many of whom are looked after children.

Maura Rose

Maura

Maura is a Family Group Conference co-ordinator for Just Psychology.

She has a background in mediation and restorative justice, working as the Manager of Bolton Mediation for over 10 years. She was responsible for managing a Family Group Conference project which worked with young people who were engaging in criminal behaviour.

Juliet McKoy

Juliet is a qualified Counsellor and registered member with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).  She trained as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist at the University of Salford and has been working as a Counsellor with a charity based in Stockport since 2012 providing therapeutic services within Stockport and Manchester.

Juliet also works as a Student Mental Health Mentor, providing support for University students with severe and enduring mental health issues.

She is also trained as a Cultural Consultant with Just Psychology.

Dr Rekha Vara

Dr Rekha Vara is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS and in non-statutory organisations since 1998 in a variety of clinical, managerial, research and service development roles. She has specialist knowledge, skills and expertise in providing cross-cultural, specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, adults and families presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental difficulties. 

Janet Mannion

Janet is Finance Officer for Just Psychology.
