A family group conference is a process where families agree on a plan to support their child.

Children and young people are usually involved in family group conferences, although often with support from an advocate. It is a voluntary process, and families cannot be forced to have a family group conference.

Find out more about the family group conference process on the Family Rights Group website.

"The FGC Coordinator was fantastic from the start.  She was very communicative with myself and the family to get a good understanding of the family dynamics and was very insightful."
